Services & Techniques

Like many other types of business, word of mouth is still king. If you are new to an area, ask your
coworkers, friends, or even at the church you attend who they go to for their local chiropractic needs.
Long standing businesses have a great reputation for a reason, so ask around.

Another idea is to read Google reviews. However, chiropractors are not immune to clever ways to boost
their reviews. I suggest you read them carefully. What is a common theme you are seeing? Does that
resonate with you? Does that chiropractor have a noticeably higher number of reviews compared to the
competition?

Check out their website and social media. Now granted, often these are dated. I know I have put off
updating my website for more months. Chiropractors did all that schooling to help people, not
necessarily run a website and several social media pages. Give some grace here, but you should get a
feel if this is the right place for you.

Lastly, and probably the most important, interview the chiropractor. Ask questions at that first visit.
Not often, but a few times a year a patient will arrive just to visit with me to see if I am a right fit. I have
always thought it was a great idea. If you aren’t aligning with the office, staff, and especially the
chiropractor, chances are you will give up on your care too early. Do you want X-rays? Ask. Do you
want nutritional advice? Ask. If they can’t provide these services they should be able to refer you
accordingly. Find an office you like with a chiropractor that resonates with your personality and helps
you achieve the results you’re hoping for by receiving chiropractic care
