Dr Nelson takes the time to figure out what is going on. Hands on which I love! Pretty sure he is magic! I always feel great when I leave. Price is very fair! Oh yeah, if you have TMJ problems he fixes that too!

I came to Derek after having an increase of back pain and turning into severe back pain that also was radiating down my leg. I could also barely walk. I suspected a herniated disc and Derek confirmed it with his professional and accurate body assessment. Derek has been treating me for the past month and a half and now I can walk and even exercise again! I would highly recommend Nelson Chiropractic if you have any back joint pain and you will be on your way to recovery!

My first experience was AMAZING! Staff is professional and help you feel comfortable. I was tired after the adjustment but it felt like I had 50 lbs. of stress and tension lifted off my back. I would definitely recommend for children, pregnant women and anyone scared of trying the chiropractor for the first time. Highly recommend. :)

Just Excellent all around!! I began seeing Dr. Nelson after a car accident and am supremely pleased with my progress under his expert, convenient care. I appreciate how simple it is to set up appointment, get treated and get out...the whole process has been prompt and expedient each time. Dr. Nelson is very knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. He seems to put his patients first... I know he's looking out for my wellness first and foremost.

Hurt my shoulder and was in a lot of pain. Called the office and was told to come right over. Dr. Nelson and Lori were very helpful and caring. After numerous appointments, I was able to gain use of my shoulder. I would recommend Dr Nelson to anybody who needed their service. Great people and great service every time.

Dr. Nelson and his office manager Lori exemplify professionalism. They are both very friendly and helpful. Every time I have visited the office, both Dr. Nelson and Lori have greeted every customer by their first name as they walk into the office. I saw a lot of chiropractors when I moved to Rapid City 15 years ago, but Dr .Nelson is the first one that has actually helped me. I've been going to him for years now and couldn't be happier to know he's got my back, literally! I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get better without going broke. He's affordable and always gets me in without making appointments. Dr. NELSON and Lori are amazing, friendly, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have known Dr. Nelson for more than 8 years. He has a very gentle and effective chiropractic technique that I appreciate. He’s excellent about assessing what is right for each patient, and will adjust each person according to what is most comfortable for them and what will give them the best results. I also am grateful for the time he takes to explain how the
spine, nerves, muscles, etc. all work together – I love details and understanding the mechanics. Along with all of this, he has an incredible bedside manner and is amazing with kids too! His office environment is open and inviting. You can’t go wrong with seeing Dr. Nelson and his team!

Great experiences with Doc Nelson! Attentive and attuned, wonderful at explaining what's going on in my back and what he's doing to ease the pain. Friendly and engaging. Warm and inviting office, thanks in large part to Lori who greets me with a friendly smile every time. After 21 years as a Marine I have my share of back problems, often doubled over in pain, but for the past nine months he's kept me loose and pliable and I haven't had any sharp pains since. Whatever he's doing, it's working! Highly recommended.

Dr Nelson did amazing job with my son. He started going at 7 weeks and wasn't sleeping and was having issues with colic. Now he is sleeping 5 to 6 hours at a time and is such a good baby. Dr Nelson was so gentle with my son. I would recommend him for anyone with children suffering from colic or any other issues. Thank you Dr Nelson for everything you did to help.

I appreciate the care, respect and level of professionalism I receive from Dr. Nelson. The office is comfortable and conveniently located with plenty of parking. Chiropractic care has done wonders for my back and neck pain and headaches. I encourage anyone with chronic pain to give Dr. Nelson a try. You'll be in good hands!

I have been going to Dr. Nelson for 3 years now. He has significantly helped in reducing my migraines, neck, and back pain. Additionally, he is so accommodating and can always fit me in. I feel that both he and Lori are so friendly and personable! I wouldn't go anywhere else in town, they are the best!

Dr. Nelson is fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. Dr. Nelson takes time to get to know his patients and listen to their concerns. With Dr. Nelsons help I am sleeping better and my headaches (that were horrible and daily) are almost nonexistent.

I've been a patient of Dr. Nelson's for about 8 years. Dr. Nelson is a very careful practitioner and has always treated me with respect. Recently, I was involved in a collision where another car hit the back of my car and I had a lot of muscle pain, etc. I went right to Dr. Nelson and he has been able to work through both the muscle pain and the underlying skeletal issues; I'm feeling like new again. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson as an integral part of your health regimen.
