Services & Techniques

That old photo was right around the time I decided I was going to become a chiropractor - probably around my senior year of high school.  His health was failing and his office was closed, but I am so glad I was able to capture that moment. That adjusting room was one of the smallest I have ever seen and yet, it worked great for a guy as big as Grandpa over several decades.

Grandpa Nelson was born May 5th, 1923.  He was full of stories but one he often told was how poor and tough he was growing up.  He’d say “I grew up in Hopkins MN, the toughest town in Minnesota.  In that town, I grew up on Van Buren, the toughest street in Hopkins.  On that street, the further down you went, the tougher they got… and I lived in the last house!”

He was a lot of things, and being tough was definitely one of them.  He was a great example in so many areas of life.  We all still miss him, but maybe a little more today.
